I am currently seeking a position that would allow me to apply my current skills in bookkeeping/accounting, as well as obtain new abilities to help establish a long-term relationship within a company.
My most recent position required me to report directly to the officers of a mid-sized corporation. During my time with the company I was able to implement new strategies that fully utilized their accounting system, and helped them operate more efficiently on a financial level. I was responsible for preparing financial statements and maintaining the general ledger. This included recording all daily business transactions, together with accounts receivable and accounts payable. My position also entailed preparing accruals, reconciling accounts and making necessary adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
I feel that teamwork is a huge aspect of company success and believe that my strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize can be very beneficial at all levels. With over 14 years experience in bookkeeping/accounting and 16 years working in an office setting, I am very confident that my abilities would be an asset to your company.
