Please contact Tania (taniabennett@mustang-spirit.org) for more information about this pet.If you are interested in this or any of our other available animals, please check out our website at www.Mustang-Spirit.org Spot is about 6 years old, he is a bay gelding about 13.2hh Spot leads, ties, gives all 4 feet and has trailered several times without incident and has also been bathed several times. Spot is saddle broke and has been ridden but suffered a set back due to being mishandled at the boarding stable where he was boraded.  He now has some issues with rearing and striking while being led.  His adopter was able to start saddling him again but has not done a reride in over a year.  Spot must go to an experienced mustang home.  No beginners please, this horse can be pushy and must have a firm hand.  That being said, when working him in the round pen or playing with him in his stall, he has a real 'puppy dog' attitiudeSpot was gelded late (around 4) but he is good with other horses.Spots adoption fee is negotable or we would consider transfering him to another rescue if one is intersted in him.  He does need some work to remind him that he is NOT in charge...he will be arriving back in Pinon Hills, CA on or about 6-29-09We are always looking for foster homes to assist us in caring for our horses. We do not charge our foster homes a fee and we do offer Tax Deductable Receipts to our foster homes (please check with your tax specialist to see if you quailfy).
