Shepherd - Medium - Senior - Female - Dog - Hope

8/13/09: Hope's time at the shelter was up, but something about her kept her around for another day, and then another, until a foster home was found to take her in. She is about 9 years old, very sweet natured, very calm and quiet, but has had a rough, earlier life. She has a steel plate in her right, rear leg, apparently from being hit by a car, however, the previous owner did not repair the damage to her hips as well. Despite this, she can still hold her own on a 4 hour hike. She is very devoted, mostly an indoor dog.
