Standard Poodle - Extra Large - Baby - Female - Dog - Lassie

Lassie is a Collie Doodle. She is an adorable baby puppy who has whiskers and the cutest smile. The shape of a Collie with the narrow face and long legs, yet the poodle hair. Her mom, Lovie, is a gorgeous young female Golden Doodle who wound up being turned into a shelter with her five baby CollieDoodle puppies. Lovie was so scared of being abandoned by the people that she trusted that she was deemed un-adoptable by the shelter because of her shyness and was minutes away from being put to sleep along with her equally scared puppies at the time we took them out. The puppies were so ill that they were emaciated. Though we have only had them a few days, they are well on the road to recovery and are all eating and doing great. They are learning to love and trust and wag their tails and play like the puppies they are as opposed to feeling like the abandoned animals they were turned into when their heartless owner abandoned them after irresponsibly allowing their puppy, Lovie, to get pregnant in the first place. The wonderful shelter we work with tries very hard to save every life, but with the numbers of dogs being abandoned daily, it is tough. Lassie now wags her tail and knows well that we have saved her and is very grateful, too! Lassie is so incredible and sweet and beautiful, it is hard to believe that we took her out of the shelter on the the day that they were going to put her down. This is just another example of why we need to regulate breeders and STOP the designer dog craze that is causing even more breeding as in the case of "Golden Doodles" like Lassie and the other Golden Doodles, Labradoodles and Doodle combinations we currently have all came from shelters on their very last day and would have died for sure if we had not taken them, yet designer dog breeders are still over breeding and selling them for thousands of dollars. These breeders could care less about the fact that there are already too many dogs that cannot find homes and are dying in shelters every day. People reading this, please don't buy a designer dog from a breeder. PLEASE, if you want a Golden Doodle, Labradoodle or so called "Designer Dog," get them from a rescue, a shelter or seek them out on websites like Petfinder. Do NOT support the Designer Dog breeders that do this for profit and that only assure our shelters will remain full, that dogs will die everyday, and that rescues like us who don't believe in breeding will continue to have the unfathomable job of trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon as we clean up the messes that these breeders are continuing to make with their over breeding! We will make sure that Lassie will be loved, adored, appreciated and safe for life! Every life is precious and should be valued and protected. Until the news laws are fully enacted and the greedy breeders stopped, this sad situation will continue where precious lives are at risk and unless we rescuers come to their aid, they are and will continue to be lost every day!
