Attention High School Seniors and College students in healthcare fields:


Etta Rankins was an extraordinary woman who was very loving and giving. Etta had such a giving and caring spirit about her that it was only fit that she go into the medical field to become a RN Nurse to continue to help people.Sadly Etta passed on in 2004 but if she were alive today she would want to continue helping the field of Nursing by giving a scholarship to anyone who desires to become a Nurse.

If you are a high school Senior or college students with at least a 3.0 g.p.a., have at least one year of volunteer experience, going into the field of Nursing or any related medical field and you LOVE to help people you are qualified to submit an essay to become the recipient of a $500 scholarship for any private, state or two year institution post high school.

Essay

The essay must be submitted through email in essay format(no attachments please), must be 3500 words or less, express why you want to go into the medical field(any events in your life that made you decide this field of study), describe how you help in your community now and why you feel you should be awarded the scholarship.
